Retiree Work Opportunites program (RWO)

The Retiree Work Opportunities proggram helps retirees find temporary work opportunities at UC Berkeley campus, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory or UC Office of the President. The program is currently available only to retirees from those three locations. Read the Berkeleyan article about RWO.

The website is a free, self-service resource connecting retirees directly with UC hiring managers or departments looking for those interested in part-time, temporary or special projects assignments.

You can use the website to post your personal profile and/or resume or curriculum vitae. You’ll also be able to browse all posted work opportunities and communicate directly with the hiring departments. Once you are in the site, you’ll see other helpful information about who to contact for questions about the program, benefits guidance, or about the hiring process.

Because there are considerations for retirees returning to work at UC Berkeley, please review the “Returning to Work After Retirement Factsheet” (PDF).
