UCBEA Membership

The UC Berkeley Emeriti Association is an active advocate of Emeriti interests, acting through campus and systemwide organizations, such as the Council of Emeriti Associations (CUCEA), and the Faculty Welfare Committee.  We also maintain close relations with the Berkeley Division’s Committee on University-Emeriti Relations, giving us a voice in decisions on parking fees and computer network* access.

We have quarterly gatherings at the Faculty Club where you can enjoy the company of other emeriti in a social hour with lunch and interesting guest speakers.  A strong Association serves our individual and collective interests and those of the whole campus community.  It is also a fine way of keeping in touch with those colleagues with whom you have shared your professional life.

The cost is modest: A $35 joining fee that covers the annual dues for the first calendar year.  Thereafter annual dues are $15.  Spouses automatically become associate members and pay no dues.

In order to apply for membership, please download the application form. Just print it out using Adobe Acrobat, fill in all of the relevant information and send it, along with your check made out to UCBEA, to us at the UC Berkeley Retirement Center.
